Day Five

Dear David,

Today was one of those days that are unexpectedly good.

As normal, I woke up hella late. It's becoming  shameful, really.

To be honest, I didn't know the blog was gonna last this long. I'm very bad at keeping things up long term... But I'm gonna do my best. :3

So as expected, I did a lot of studying. Or actually, a lot of pretending that I'm studying. I seriously have to work on my attention span...

When everyone went out shopping for furniture, I watched Fast and Furious!

It's such a classic movie. Combing two good things: girls in short skirt and cars. And people wonder why the franchise makes so much money. I know I've seen it so many times, but I love it!

After this, they finally came home at around 7:45 with a surprise: A burger from Five Guys! I should have taken pictures...but I was so hungry I devoured it. (._. ) But I did take a picture of my apple.. Yay?

It was a really good apple if anything xD

After dinner we went to church for the 8:30 candlelit mass. It was really peaceful. For once, there were no s reaming babies or any disturbances. The pastor looked a lot like a Buddhist monk... His name is Francis Chung. I bribe that's his last name...Anyway... His homily was really nice. He has a really soothing old asian man voice.

After church, we rented a movie from redbox! It's called Admissions, starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd.

This movie made me cry. Like oh my goodness. ;~; It was really good. Tina Fey is a admissions director at Princeton University and Paul Rudd is a nomadic do-gooder who at this point of life is a director or builder-upper of a school. I'm not gonna disclose spoilers or anything, but it was really touching. :3 It's the kind of movie that really makes you think about what you're doing with your life.

It made me realize what I really want in my future is to settle down and have a family, but in order to get to that future, there are so many things that I still have to experience and go through.

Oh! And throughout the day, we've had some very interesting conversations....

Just one of those days where I can't type ...which is like everyday, really....

We think the same stupid things xD It's weird. You're the most black asian I know.

IM SEXY AND I KNOW IT, GIRL LOOK AT THAT BODY. UMF ;c

But yeah, tomorrow is study study study. Wish me luck. >.<

Day Four

Dear David,

Today, I did more or less nothing. ._.

I woke up at 9, took a shower, and studied a lot...

It's Grandma's birthday today! Mom made mutton biryani, a type of rice dish with meat. It's super good~

Most of the afternoon passed with studying, really. But at around five, I have up. Will power: 0/10

I ended up watching two movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Dukes of Hazzard.

I've watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off some three times now. It's such a classic movie :3

The Dukes of Hazzard is such a hilarious movie. I watched it with my dad, and we both ended up laughing are asses off.

Oh and I forgot! Early on when I was looking through the blogger stats, I saw someone from Russia was checking my blog. /mind blown/ It's so weird to think anyone access to my words and thoughts.

But yup, that was my day. One week of classes left man. I'm ready to die.

Day Two

Dear David,

Today was a weird day.

I woke up pretty early. Well, not really. Anyway, I went to take a shower and I found a spider the size of Texas on my shampoo bottle. ;-; After a short meltdown I ended up showering in the other bathroom... When I checked my phone, I saw this: Your first messages from Korea! Thank god you didn't crash.

Oh! I also had my test today. I think I did super well. >Basically a first for me. But I think I deserved it since I studied super hard. At PCC, I also discovered that Yoni is taking a class in the same building as me! Didn't see that coming.

Once I got home, I watched a ton of sappy movies... Grease, The Notebook, PS I Love You... I call it the second day of my allowed grieving period before I have to suck it up and grow a pair. But I'm a girl so I don't have to. HA.

For dinner I made grilled fajitas. The recipe called for tequila. I ended up putting to much in... My parents didn't notice since it all evaporated. But standing there while marinating and cooking it...God damn. All of the fumes. For desert I had a chocopie~  :3 So yummy.

I'm off to bed now! Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

Asian Mother
